Covid– 19 Swab Testing at the CRP Clinic

What is a Covid -19 (SARS-CoV-2) Swab Test?

The outbreak was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020, and has since spread globally, resulting in the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.

Current measures are in place globally to reduce the spread of the virus, such as the requirement by several airlines/borders for a negative swab test in order to travel.

The CRP Clinic can offer this swab test for any individual who is not showing symptoms of coronavirus and who has not been in contact with anyone showing symptoms of coronavirus within 14 days of their test. Further to this, if you have visited any countries not covered by the travel corridor exemption (the countries can be found here) then you must self-isolate for 14 days before visiting our clinic.

We are registered to offer postal swab tests ONLY for travel out of the UK. Please allow 48 hours’ notice for postage. Please note we can NOT offer a ‘Test to Release’ test to find out if you can reduce your quarantine period after international travel.

In addition you may receive a text message from Test and Trace when the instruction for a COVID-19 test has been made through our clinic. This is a requirement of Public Health England (PHE)

Please refer to government guidelines on International Travel advise as we do NOT provide travel advice for each country of travel.
