Samantha is a highly qualified and experienced acupuncturist and specialist in fertility, pregnancy, reproductive health and gynaecology in Chinese Medicine.

Samantha works with women, men and couples on their journey to parenthood using acupuncture to bring about balance, harmony and a genuine sense of well-being.

Acupuncture is an ancient medicine with thoroughly modern applications.  It is used to help women prepare for conception, during fertility treatment and IVF and throughout the whole of pregnancy.  Acupuncture has a lot to offer in supporting women at risk of miscarriage, and Samantha works with many hundreds of women each year throughout the first trimester of pregnancy and beyond if necessary.   Samantha also works with men experiencing issues with sperm health and there is mounting clinical evidence in support of its role in these cases.

Acupuncture is part of a comprehensive and formal traditional medical system that places great emphasis and value on holistic approaches to health and wellness.    It offers another tool in the kitbag to help people on their journey to parenthood and is used routinely alongside western medical approaches to fertility and pregnancy.

Samantha is a member of The British Acupuncture Council, The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, The Royal Society of Medicine, The British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and The Acupuncture Fertility Network.  She has worked in the research and delivery of healthcare in both Western and Eastern medicine her entire career.   She is a faculty member and lecturer for undergraduate acupuncture students at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York and is committed to the development and education of Chinese medicine practitioners and students.

Samantha is well-known for her kind and compassionate approach in clinic and gentle, safe and effective use of acupuncture.
